HOMA-IR
The HOMA-IR Test (Homeostatic Model Assessment of Insulin Resistance) is used to evaluate insulin resistance based on fasting glucose and insulin levels. This test helps in the early detection of insulin resistance, which may be associated with an increased risk of type 2 diabetes, obesity, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
