Preparation

  • Fasting: Fasting is required for 8 to 12 hours prior to sample collection (due to the Fasting Glucose and Lipid Profile tests).

  • General Guidelines: Only plain water is allowed during the fasting period. Avoid heavy or fatty meals right before starting your fast, and inform the laboratory staff of any medications or supplements you take regularly.

Vitamin B12 has an essential role in production of red blood cells and DNA. Vitamin B12 helps the nervous system to be in the perfect ways . It is important for the health of the brain, memory and the entire nervous system

HBA1C must be monitored every 3 months

A HbA1c analysis used to detect diabetes or pre-diabetes

Fasting glucose test is used to detect high blood sugar or low blood sugar levels and monitor blood sugar levels for a healthy life.

It is a spiral-shaped bacteria that lives and reproduces in the lining walls of the stomach. The vast majority of people infected with Helicobacter pylori do not show any symptoms and will never develop problems. However, it is the cause of many diseases in the stomach, including ulcers, as the presence of the bacteria is one of the causes of ulcers. Not the other way around, and a person remains infected unless they undergo treatment.

A common blood test, known as a blood urea nitrogen test, reveals important information about how well your kidneys are functioning. It measures the concentration of urea nitrogen in the blood.

It is called a blood albumin test or blood albumin test, and it is a test to measure the level of albumin in the blood, which is a protein that is manufactured in the liver. A low albumin test reading indicates the presence of kidney or liver disorders , Albumin helps maintain fluids in the bloodstream and prevents them from leaking into other tissues in the body. Albumin also carries other substances throughout the body such as enzymes, hormones, and vitamins.

The lipase analysis in the blood is an analysis that measures the amount of the lipase enzyme in the blood, as the lipase enzyme is one of the enzymes produced by the pancreas, which helps in digesting fats. It should be noted that it is normal for small amounts of the lipase enzyme to be present in the blood, but when an individual is infected with one of the Pancreatic diseases, such as pancreatitis, or obstruction of the pancreatic duct by a stone, may cause an increase in the level of the lipase enzyme in the blood.

The bilirubin test measures bilirubin levels in the blood. Bilirubin is a yellow pigment made during the breakdown of red blood cells. Bilirubin passes through the liver and is eventually eliminated by the body , Bilirubin levels that are higher than the usual level may indicate the presence of various types of liver or bile duct problems. Sometimes, high bilirubin levels may be caused by an increased rate of damage to red blood cells.

The Globulin Test measures the level of globulin proteins in the blood. These proteins play an important role in supporting the immune system, fighting infections, and maintaining liver and kidney functions. The test helps assess overall health and may aid in detecting liver disorders, kidney diseases, chronic inflammation, or immune system disorders.

The Direct Bilirubin Test measures the level of direct bilirubin in the blood. Direct bilirubin is a byproduct of red blood cell breakdown that has been processed by the liver. This test helps evaluate liver and bile duct function and may assist in detecting conditions such as hepatitis, bile duct obstruction, or other liver disorders.

The Indirect Bilirubin Test measures the level of indirect bilirubin in the blood. Indirect bilirubin is a natural byproduct of red blood cell breakdown before it is processed by the liver. This test helps evaluate liver function and may assist in diagnosing conditions such as hemolytic anemia, liver disorders, or problems related to red blood cell breakdown.

The BUN/Creatinine Ratio Test measures the ratio between blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine levels in the blood. It is used to evaluate kidney function and the body’s fluid balance. The test may help detect conditions such as dehydration, kidney disorders, or reduced blood flow to the kidneys.
