Preparation

  • Fasting is not required.
  • Drinking water normally before the blood test is allowed.
  • For the urine test, a morning midstream urine sample is preferred, collected in a clean, sterile container.
  • The stool sample should be collected in the designated container and should not be mixed with urine or water.
  • No special preparation is required for Vitamin D, Iron, Calcium, Zinc, Magnesium, Phosphorus, or TSH testing.
  • Please inform the laboratory about any medications or dietary supplements the child is currently taking.
  • For certain tests, the laboratory may recommend a specific collection time according to the testing procedure.
