To ensure accurate results, please follow these guidelines:

  • Fasting for 8 hours is preferred for HbA1c or Iron tests (if possible)
  • Drinking water is allowed before the test
  • Inform the laboratory about any medications you are taking
  • Avoid vitamins and supplements for 24 hours before testing (especially Vitamin D and Iron)
  • Avoid heavy physical activity before the test
  • Some tests do not require fasting such as: Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, Viral tests, and TSH
